8-Hour Private Tour of the Pyramids, Sphinx, Grand Egyptian Museum

5 days

Moderate

Five days is the minimum time required to visit Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan with any depth—the minimum, not the ideal. But for travelers with a constrained window, it is enough to see Egypt's essential chapters without feeling that every site was rushed.

This package covers the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the Valley of the Kings and Karnak in Luxor, and Philae Temple and Abu Simbel in Aswan — structured around domestic flights to move efficiently between cities, with private guides at every site and hotels included throughout.

It is the most efficient and serious Egypt itinerary available.

Who This Package Is For

  • Travelers who want to visit Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan but cannot extend beyond five days
  • First-time visitors who want a complete introduction to Egypt — ancient monuments, royal tombs, and Nile temple sites
  • Those who have been told that five days is not enough and want to know whether that is true — it is enough for this specific itinerary, if planned correctly.

Common Questions

Is five days really enough for Egypt?

For this specific itinerary — yes. The sites selected are the ones that matter most, in the right sequence, at the right depth for a first visit. What five days do not give you: Luxor's West Bank beyond the Valley of the Kings, Abydos, Dendera, or the Western Desert. Those require more days. This package gives you the core Egypt experience done properly, without false promises about comprehensiveness.

Is everything private, or will I be with other groups?

All tours and transfers are private — your group only. Hotels are individual bookings. Nile cruise ships are shared vessels, but your cabin is private, and your guide time is private.

Can the itinerary be adjusted?

Yes — multi-day packages are built on a framework, not a fixed script. Sites can be resequenced, pacing adjusted, and optional additions discussed before departure. Tell us what matters most when booking.

What is not included in the package price?

International flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips, and anything listed as optional or premium in the itinerary. No hidden costs — everything included is clearly listed.

■ HURGHADA EXTENSION

Add 2 Nights in Hurghada. End your Egypt tour on the Red Sea. A private vehicle from Aswan reaches Hurghada in approximately 5.5 hours via the Eastern Desert road — one of Egypt's most dramatic landscapes. Two nights in Hurghada include a full-day snorkelling excursion to Giftun Island Marine Protected Area and a glass-bottom boat trip. You depart directly from Hurghada Airport, avoiding a return to Cairo. Ask us to extend this tour with a Hurghada add-on.

■ SHARM EL SHEIKH EXTENSION

Add 3 Nights in Sharm El Sheikh. For couples or those who prefer the upscale resort atmosphere of Sharm El Sheikh, a domestic flight from Aswan (via Cairo) takes approximately 2.5 hours, including the Cairo connection. Three nights at Stella Di Mare, Sharm El Sheikh, include snorkelling, a glass-bottom boat, and a Sinai jeep safari. Ask us to extend this tour with a Sharm El Sheikh add-on.
